In order to cooperate with the company’s long-term development, including larger, more comfortable and more extensive in-store services, as well as strengthening and encouraging customers to use online stores and remote support, AMED will continue and accelerate the optimization of network systemization to improve customers’ high-quality experience. In the store, you can learn more about innovative medical information, and people with disabilities, the elderly or children can also get more considerate services in the newly designed AMED store.

AMED Wan Chai store will be closed on 25 January 2022, customers can still use the existing AMED Prince Store (Room 1005, 10/F, OfficePlus@Prince Edward, 794-802 Nathan Road) before Chinese New Year. After the Chinese New Year, AMED Wanchai and Prince Edward will be officially merged, providing nearly 1,000 square feet of space for customers to use. The detailed address is as follows:

Arrangements for the safety of Philips CPAP/BiPAP

To all CPAP/BiPAP users:

Regarding the safety of the CPAP released by Philips on June 14, 2021, Hong Kong Department of Health received news on June 16, 2021, please click here to view the details on the Philips website.

The following are the CPAP models that Philips recommends users to discontinue using (only shown the models those AMED has been sold in retail):

DreamStation first generation (Auto CPAP, Auto BiPAP and Auto BiPAP ST)

DreamStation Go Auto CPAP

 

As Philips is currently accepting customer registrations in the United States and Canada, we need to wait for further information before contacting relevant customers directly.

Affected customers, Philips’ announcement also mentioned that apart from discontinue using the above models, customers should work with their physician or Durable Medical Equipment (DME) provider to determine the most appropriate options for continued treatment.

If you have any questions about this, please email to [email protected]. Also specify the name of the user, the phone number registered when buying the machine, and the serial number on the bottom of the CPAP. We will response your email shortly.
